As an adult I never thought I would enjoy reading a children’s book. But your book is an interesting read as not only the children but we adults also need value education in this day and time of tech era.
When the society is going through a moral crisis, your books provide a refreshing take on how such a trend can be reversed if we reflect on our actions and thoughts. Really Great! 🙂
Yes, this trend can be reversed, and we have to assume responsibility. We adults are more concerned about values and virtues than juveniles. They say adult brains are less able to grasp ‘implicit’ learning than youngsters, who are more sponge-like in their information acquisition. But then again, youngsters are more tech savvy and comfortable consuming digital media, and that does’t care for values and virtues. So, here we have to play our role by providing support and guidance.

There are many versions of Ramayan in print. But Priya’s version is far and away the best, perhaps next to Sage Valmiki. And her book “for a great future” is full of stories that open up new possibilities and stretch the imagination. Thanks for writing such wonderful books. keeep it upp!

My daughter has weak eyesight but she refused to wear specs in school as she thought it would make her look nerdy. She was a topper but because of this shortcoming, her marks and health deteriorated. She very frequently suffered headaches. For the past 1 year, this has been a constant debate in our home. But your story # 12, To wear or not to wear, opened her eyes and put an end to our arguments. Yeah great books that explain things that are important in life in a very simple way and is something everyone should read and contemplate over.
Yes, contemplation is a good candidate for the best rational activity of the soul. It balances your state-of-mind, increases sense of peace, increases awareness, encourages positive thinking, upgrades your consciousness and build confidence. I know it is a good habit, but not for everyone. I can’t contemplate even when i am in a balanced state-of-mind.

I agree with you. There’s a lot that can be done to impart the real education and make our world a better place. Our educational system is not good enough for future as it mainly focuses on exams. Real education should consist of drawing the goodness and the best out of our own students. Teaching is more than imparting knowledge, it is inculcating values. We are forever grateful for what you have given us all. Your book “for a great future” is a great gift. This should be a major part of any school curriculum! What a different world we would live in if people understood each other more and look at the big picture, they would not fight over the petty issues.
