  1. My daughter has weak eyesight but she refused to wear specs in school as she thought it would make her look nerdy. She was a topper but because of this shortcoming, her marks and health deteriorated. She very frequently suffered headaches. For the past 1 year, this has been a constant debate in our home. But your story # 12, To wear or not to wear, opened her eyes and put an end to our arguments. Now she proudly flaunts her cool specs as she aces her class. Thanx a lot. God bless you.

        1. Kkeep it in mind for your kids. Today’s kids are plugged in and tuned out of real world for many more hours of th day than medical experts consider healthy for them. And it applies to all of us.

  2. Your stories hav a very realistic touch and instantly connect with the children. I’m a mother of two school going children and I can’t thank you enough for inculcating such important life-skills thru your books. keep it uP!

  4. As an adult I never thought I would enjoy reading a children’s book. But your book is an interesting read as not only the children but we adults also need value education in this day and time of tech era.

When the society is going through a moral crisis, your books provide a refreshing take on how such a trend can be reversed if we reflect on our actions and thoughts. Really Great! 🙂

    1. Yes, this trend can be reversed, and we have to assume responsibility. We adults are more concerned about values and virtues than juveniles. They say adult brains are less able to grasp ‘implicit’ learning than youngsters, who are more sponge-like in their information acquisition. But then again, youngsters are more tech savvy and comfortable consuming digital media, and that does’t care for values and virtues. So, here we have to play our role by providing support and guidance.

A writer died and St. Peter offered him the option of going to hell or to heaven. To help decide, he asked for a tour of each destination. St. Peter agreed and decided to take him to hell first. As he descended into the fiery pits, the writer saw row upon row of writers, chained to their desks in a steaming sweatshop. As they worked, they were repeatedly whipped with thorny lashes by demons. “Oh, my,” the writer said, “let me see heaven.”

A few moments later, as they ascended into heaven, the writer saw row upon row of writers, chained to their desks in a steaming sweatshop. As they worked, they, too, were whipped with thorny lashes by demons. “Hey,” the writer said, “this is just as bad as hell.”

“Oh, no it’s not,” St Peter replied, “here your work gets published!”

If you want to waste your time in writing such books, waste it. That’s your prerogative. But don’t ever waste others’ time by preaching such things in the name of moral and ethical teaching in top schools. Thank you.
